I think that an average minimum-wage earner in America can make enough money in one day to eat for a month.
Just go to Sam's, and get this stuff:
6 Dozen Eggs -- $6.00
30-count Hot Dogs -- $4.00
4 loaves of bread -- $5.00
3 lb Salad bag -- $4.00
6 pounds hash browns -- $4.00
3 pounds sliced ham -- $5.00
6 pound pasta -- $6.00
Gallon pasta sauce ?- $5.00
16 cans of assorted veggies -- $10
$1 left over.
If people are hungry in America, it is probably because they are stupid.
