The MOAB was dropped in the Afghan-Pakistan frontier area.
That is like the badlands of the US Mexico border area. Until proven otherwise, we (USA) just tested a very expensive big bomb on a mountain. Probably killed 3 goats and maybe a Taliban or two.
This is not not a real event or tragedy. The pictures of the big hole in the ground will be all over the Internet for a week. It's a publicity stunt and a diversion perhaps.
