Risky, but 69 sold @ 2.82 @ Amazon for 2.05 = .77 but ebay will have some fees on that but still probably .50 profit x 69 = $34.00
Maybe they do this with lots of items or there is of course the possibility they ran out of stock and rather than cancel your order which results in a ding on ebay they bought off Amazon to fulfill your order.
IMO the 2nd is more plausible but the 1st is possible..
edit.. actually he's doing the 1st.. another item he has for sale is listed @ 9.99 on ebay but same item on Amazon is $4.27 he's sold 51 of that current listing. My bet is he finds something that has cross platform profits and lists small amounts like 50 or 60 then relists when he runs out. That's $5 per item profit roughly after fees so $255 in profits from what he's sold.
Not a bad little free money gig. I don't think he can get in trouble either because he's not using prime for the free shipping but the sellers offer free shipping @ Amazon.
What he's doing is not uncommon as far as cross platform sales, I've bought items on ebay and resold them on Amazon before, but I've never seen anyone do it like he is which is basically use Amazon as a drop shipper.. Pretty smart TBH, but lots of research needed to find items..
