No. Trump was not talking about the Constitution. I watched the interview. He was referring to Senate RULES that the Senate themselves passed over the years. They are called PROCEDURAL rules.
You are so out of touch with things it's scary.
The Senate has created rules and added them in over the decades. (Like the Filibuster rule that Harry Reid removed..and Mitch McConnell expanded to get Gorsuch approved).
The Senate had even changed the rules on a Filibuster (and since you did NOT watch the interview you don't know that Trump brought that up and discussed how they don't even actually have to do a Filibuster anymore...they made rule changes so that all a Senator has to do is say he WILL Filibuster and that is the end of it).
No, Rochard...Trump never once mentioned the Constitution. He very plainly spoke of Senate rules that have been put in place over the last decades that cause the Congress to be inefficient.
The willful ignorance of reality in order to feel good about yourselves is astounding to me.
For you Democrat snowflakes...your arguments would actually be so much better if you would just tell the truth and show some knowledge.
For instance...The Wall. I think it's the WORST idea ever. Makes us just like the Soviet Union and the "Berlin Wall".
I simply don't want to be "walled in" and think it's a horrible, horrible thing.
But Democrat politicians? The EXACT same politicians that voted FOR a wall in 2006 (Hillary, Schumer, Reid, Pelosi, etc) act all hypocritical about it now.
Want to stop the wall? Then quit whining about illegal immigrants supposedly having Constitutional rights (they don't) and start waking the American people up to the fact that we are going to build a wall and be just like the Soviets in the Cold War.
Walls not only keep them out...but they keep US in.
See what I'm saying? You snowflakes are going about this all wrong.
Lying, distorting fact, and defending the indefensible. That's no way to sway public opinion.
