My respect for Mr. Comey just keeps going up, he wasn't afraid to piss off both sides to do what he thought was right at the time and as a result ended up on thin ice with whichever of the two dirtbags happened to win the election.
So he left a few little easter eggs ticking away in his files to speak for him should he get the sack.
