The rumor has it, that Chaffetz leaked a classified letter from Comey to congress with out declassifying it. This is the reason for his quick retreat back to Utah and his sudden announcement he wont be running for re-election and is quitting Congress.. They are speculating he made a deal to end his political life to not be prosecuted.
The letter in question, was the Hillary letter about re-opening the FBI investigation. IE he leaked a classified letter that likely effected the out come of the election.
This might be the FBI using him as a bitch to get the Comey memo into the public view..
