not in the street, but along the bus line there are lots of homeless. you see a lot of old encampments along the south side of Burbank Blvd between Balboa and Hayvenhurst and there are all over Lake Balboa, mainly the north west area and also along the bike path further down towards the 405 south entrance on Victory. I've stumbled across large encampments while walking my dogs along the trails at lake Balboa and when there are rain storms/floods you see A LOT of shopping carts packed full of who knows what at the entrance of the sepulveda basin near Woodley and Victory. Also, if you look off the side of the 405 you'll see tent houses and some large communities off the 405 exit ramps around the Nordoff exit. Still not as crazy as the shit in skid row, I have seen homeless in DTLA shitting in public.
