Chaffetz, Comey to speak Monday | TheHill
Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah), the outgoing chairman of the House Oversight Committee, on Sunday said he expects to speak with former FBI Director James Comey on Monday.
?What I have heard is that I believe Director Comey and I are going to have a conversation on Monday. So I have not spoken directly with him,? Chaffetz told ABC?s ?This Week? when asked if he had heard from the Justice Department about Comey publicly testifying about the circumstances surrounding his dismissal.
Chaffetz, who will resign from Congress at the end of June, said the committee is pursuing any possible documents detailing meetings between President Trump and Comey.
