As someone in the program I can tell you... 20 years ago rehab was 90% alcoholics and 10% everything else
now it's 20% alcoholics and 80% benzo addiction
it's the same story.. got hooked on painkillers which are basically heroin then when the doctor stops writing scrips on the street painkillers are sometimes $30 a PILL
some of these folks have a 50 or 60 pill a day addiction. Heroin is CHEAP CHEAP and gets them there faster
it's only going to get worse. When I was growing up I didn't know anyone that died... nowadays almost EVERY high schooler knows at least 1 kid dead of overdose
