Went to Dot To Dot Festival in Manchester yesterday, an all day music festival over several venues in the city for indie/alternative acts. A lot of the bands I wanted to see were playing at same venues, so I only needed to go in four different ones but out of those four only one checked my rucksack.
So good to see them being vigilant after the MEN incident...
I also didn't see many police on the streets despite news reports to the contrary, and definitely didn't see any armed police, even at Piccadilly Station.
