I can relate to OP, MacBooks are fucking pleasure to use. I loved mine, but I had to sell it since I don't need it anymore. During my years at university, it was the best thing I had, but I don't need a portable device anymore. Sold the MacBook, bought a high-end gaming PC to satisfy all my needs.
I haven't tried graphic softwares or anything that requires an insane amount of power, but I guess it wouldn't be a problem for this monster.
(Specs, if anyone is interested:
CPU: i5 7500 @ 3.5GHz (7th Gen)
MOBO: ASUS B250 Krait Gaming
RAM: 2x4GB HyperX Fury 2400MHz DDR4
VGA: EVGA GTX 970 FTW ACX 2.0
SSD: Samsung EVO 850 256GB
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB
PSU: Seasonic S12II 620W)
I was a hardcore Mac fanboy while using the MacBook, but since I bought the PC, I'm in love with it. Boots in 8 seconds and does its job without asking a single question.
