This type of behavior needs to be repudiated. You cannot control the mentally incompetents in society without good cause. The attacker probably couldn't pass the background check to buy a handgun or get a police permit. But what is the difference between a ISIS inspired terrorist attack with a sword and this attacker's actions -- nothing really.
