people look at me like i am crazy when i gush over a damn potato variety but it truly is different. When i first moved down here in southern ontario they were somewhat available in markets and i couldn't get enough of them. I didn't realize the difference until we had a few years where most markets switched to idaho potatoes instead. Man, i know idaho is known for potatoes as well but there is truly no comparison. At least not the varieties i was getting. Must be something in the rocky soils of the island.
