That would explain a lot. Most of those orphans from Russia have horrific backgrounds. Parental abuse, alcohol and drugs. I know lots of couples who adopted kids from Russia and only one had kids who were "normal" - four siblings lost their parents in a car crash. The rest came from really disturbing backgrounds.
