Agreed.
Not sure you got the point of the OP though... (some) americans on this board, who shall remain nameless, telling a high density country that they must be racist/xenophobic if they don't agree with uncontrolled immigration. And creating strawman arguments like 'alt-right say it's all the brown people's fault', and 'don't blame immigrants for personal failings' (btw I agree again - those failures would be failures regardless of where they lived, and how much they were spoon-fed... those people are idiots, and have precisely zero to do with this thread).
Most people on this board are hobbyists, who (the UK ones, can't speak for other EU peeps ofc) see a heavy load on infrastructure but can't eg pay to line-jump at the GP/hospital - no slight to them, that's the case for almost all so-called 'middle-class' workers, and certainly all 'working-class' workers. What's funny to me is the highbrows treating those people with disdain, and dismissing their legit concerns as 'racist' and 'xenophobic', then wondering why there's such a push-back. Even moreso when they happen to come from somewhere where to get a real feeling of the issues, their population would need to sit at 12bn+
You of course can't blame mass immigration for everything, or even most things, but you most certainly can blame it for longer hospital waiting times, shortage of housing, amongst other things. Dismissing those real issues as racist/xenophobic/blahblahnamecalling is just such a wtf moment for me I thought I'd ramble on with precisely no outcome at all except the taking up of everyone's time and effort, on here
