Now here is where you are not thinking things out.. We saw the "public hearing".. There was also a closed hearing right after that were the real evidence would be heard.
The point you are missing here, is yes Comey told Trump that he wasn't a target at "that time", however Trump firing Comey and then publicly admitting he did it to ease the Russian investigation means Trump is now a target in a obstruction of justice case as it was also confirmed Sessions is now part of one.
You seem to have forgotten that because of Trump firing Comey, there is now a special prosecutor. The Special prosecutor happened "BECAUSE TRUMP FIRED COMEY"..
ie if you haven't got it yet, the entire fact that there is now a special prosecutor means Trump is now under investigation for obstruction of justice and Trump has already publicly admitted to obstructing justice.
You don't seem to understand today's hearing was about if Trump attempted to obstruct justice when he fired Comey. It wasn't about the Russian investigation, it was to find out what him and Comey had talked about leading up to him being fired..

No I watched the entire testimony I understand just fine, you don't like what he said. What happened and WHY is the most important thing. You didn't get your desired outcome so now it's on to something else. Lynch will now be the focus of a new probe for obstruction since she DIRECTLY ordered him to drop the HC email probe. Not a single time in Comey's memo's or testimony did he say trump told him to, he said he wished he would. That he wanted him to a loyal. Pressure, yes. Obstruction, no. Every single news outlet out there came to the same conclusion. This is over that's why it's so quiet today on all the boards and news outlets. It's done. You didn't get what you needed. Sorry, but like I said Trump will still be president in 3.5 years. Every week it's some new reason he's gonna get kicked out. Always a new thing when the last one failed. You can disagree all you want, it won't matter. He beat it, Lynch on the other hand is gonna get some heat now. He was never the focus of a Russia probe. You guys so dearly wanted him to be. He is not now even, you are wrong about that. He is now under investigation for obstruction because the Russia stuff wouldn't stick. Today he beat the obstruction. There is no legal way he can be convicted on a single charge of obstruction. Plus Sessions recused himself from the entire thing? So what is your deal now with him? He did the right thing. Unlike Bill Clinton and Loretta Lynch. Comey was in corner, Lynch directly ordering him to not investigate HC, Trump pressuring him to drop the Russia probe. So he leaked classified stuff, and he will now probably be getting a special prosecutor as well.
