OP, we are now beyond the millennials. The millennial kids are now having their own kids.. The current baby makers are "generation Y" they are the 18 to 20 somethings now..
As for why? Well the latest crop of kids grew up in tough financial times where their millennial parents and some Gen xers never really realized the American dream.
Also the Gen y kids have grown up in a time where our country has never not been at war. The 1st groups of these kids were born just before 9/11 so their entire life our country has been at war and being turned into a police state.
Add in the fact their parents are likely still suffering financial debt for their educations which didn't provide them with good jobs.... well its no wonder they don't want kids..
This is the outcome of war mongering and greed of the 1%. Congrats the Republican dream come true....

Nah... Our education debt was paid off 20+ years ago... and we're in our 30's and still don't want kids. So, yeah, we still have great jobs... $250+... I don't know what you're smoking. You must be the 1% you're talking about.
