Assuming you kept up to date with upgrades then the monthly fee is cheaper than what it used to cost to buy the program then pay for each upgrade. The draw back of course is if you ever stop paying you no longer have access to the program.
The last non cloud version of CS 5, photoshop $699+ dollars and then new version upgrades are always $200 a pop.. doing $20/month is much, much cheaper.. There is no way you were paying $700 plus $200 upgrade cost and are now complaining at $20/month.. be real you were just downloading cracked versions..
@ $20/month you're paying the same cost as previously for a yearly upgrade with out the $700 buy in..
Regardless, there are also other good options that are cheaper and even some decent free ones.
