The best that can be done is certain guns can be outlawed or restricted and your right to have a gun can be removed if you are a felon but that's it. I personally think your right to own a gun should also be able to be removed if you have a mental illness history..

I agree completely...Every American should be entitled to carry a sword and a front loading musket and be a part of a WELL REGULATED militia...exactly as the founding fathers intended..
...but the same reason cars are not protected neither are machine guns, because the founding fathers did not expect either of them..
And indeed these guys are representatives of not so well regulated militia..( mostly an evolution rejects)
