A lot of these are Muslim men, who have left their wives and children behind. Some of them are African, Iranians, Pakistani, Afghans, etc.
There's now a rape crisis in the UK of Muslim Pakistani and Afghan men raping children. Underage girls were plied with alcohol and drugs in exchange for sex. The convictions have barely scratched the surface of the crimes.
But that's not the worse.
The worse is the authorities took 8 yeas or more to acknowledge the abuse. This was after some authorities had reported it. They had hidden the truth in order to not upset the Muslim community. Allowing young vulnerable girls to be raped.
