Ps, we (The Netherlands) don't export weapons. Germany does.
In Holland most politicians wanted to help them in the surrounding countries. They gave help. But what do you prefer, living in a camp, or get a free house, free money, free hospitals, free education in Western europe. There are statistics, Syrians that went to camps and surrounding countries are getting back to syria. From the 'refugees' that came to Western euro (during other wars), hardly anyone returns (or have a job). Some left wing party's in Holland want the refugees, till it where so many that the lost support from their voters.
Maybe setting them up and shoot some would have been more human. Than the other tens of thousands wouldn't have drowned in rubber boats and make smugglers and NGO's rich.
Now we have a boattaxi between Libya and Europe, every week people are drowning. Australia just put them back to where they cam from. And that is working better. And with more checks you could see that 85% of the people on the boats aren't even refugees.
So in the end; Merkel and the whole of the EU are just incompetent. Countries (that only get money from the EU)d don't want them and expect the western counries to take them.
And now we are here with the biggest disaster in Europe that is a threat to the EU, triggered by merkel's guilt.
And what money was promides and not given? The red cross have more than enough. And else they could have do a TV show like they did with the Tsunami and in no-time there would be enough money.
