Lots of retired people take these part time jobs for something to do and to supplement their retirement income.
In the US many old have to work to supplement their income.

These are lower paid lower skilled jobs.
Get an AA or 4 year or better degree with an occupational qualification -- some computer tech and engineering degree graduates start at $80K a year in the USA. If you are a mediocre person you will have mediocre earnings.

As I show you those jobs are fast disappearing. However, if Americans paid more in taxes, they would have a better school system. We get free college and university here how much does it cost in America?
