You can't call Australia conservative especially in an American way, we don't have the us vers them mentality, the main political parties here have both very conservative and very liberal idea's and values, neither one is right or left but they do have to hook up with smaller parties that do. I think they call that a democracy... something the USA seems to of lost.
Hypocrite? Yep fucking dead right there! Comes from this stupid Allie thing we are involved in, in the past it was about protecting each other but now its more and more about nations like the USA, pulling in smaller nations like Australia to cover their ass, joint effort kinda deal. Certainly has a lot of people here questioning why. I can't see Australia pulling away from it any time soon, reality is though we do 80% of our trade with China and since the USA has pulled out of TTP that's only going to increase, idea was to reverse the trend.
