They might be left as in the same way Nazis are right, but usually with anarchists they don't suscrible to normal left and right. They aren't voting for Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders as example of US politicians. They will protest left just the same as right.

Example socialism is example of a far left ideology you see little bits and pieces of it within moderate left, as that's normal.

Anarchists are not left or right, they hate all govt. The word anarchy means absence of govt. Calling that left would be like calling tribalism right.

Everyone wants to put everything in a category but sometimes it just doesn't fit.
I took the liberty to do some more searches on the internet.

Wikipedia:

Anarchism is usually considered a radical left-wing ideology,

and much of anarchist economics and anarchist legal philosophy reflects anti-authoritarian interpretations of communism, collectivism, syndicalism, mutualism, or participatory economics.
I do understand the more deeper you get into this subject, the more complex it gets. But lets keep it simple.

So what does that mean. There are some handful right-wingers among the protesters venting their frustration, okay maybe it's so. But this is still organized by the left and carried out by them.

Anarchists are middle of the road extremism. They hate all govt and tend to have a mix of views. This is what I tried to explain to mineistaken, but he can't see past the liberal tag.

AntiFa is a bit different though. They are often also anarchists but they are much more anti fascist vs anything else. Both groups will mingle together because they share most of the same ideas.
Crockett lets say the protesters contain 90% left and 10% right, is it then okay to just claim the protesters to be a mix of right and left?
