Here's my theory on this... They are shoving Junior out to take the hit on this because up until now he's been out of all the Russia shit. I'm betting they are hedging their bets that he can get off with a slap on the wrist by claiming ignorance and being "new" at this stuff. This is why Jr & Manafort are trying to protect Kusher in this meeting..
Kusher will go to jail over this meeting. Lying on a SF-86 is a extremely serious crime and this is now the 3rd time he's been caught not reporting meetings with foreign nationals. It doesn't matter how long he was at the meeting the emails prove intent to conspire with a foreign national in attempt to sway a election. That is treason..
Jared Kushner is going to jail over this, it's a given.. I think somewhere in Trump's dumb master plan he thinks having his son play distraction in the media will take the heat off, because Trump thinks it's all about the media not the actual investigation. He thinks it's all a popularity contest.
It's not happening.. It's either that or Trump Jr's new lawyer scared the jesus shit out of him, on the time he maybe looking at for violating the Logan act & potential treason charges. He might be trying to save his own ass by releasing his emails and hoping the investigators accept it as good will..
This is now playing out in one of those two ways.. Either way Jared Kushner is going to jail... Trump Jr releasing those emails just sealed Kusher's fate..
