There isn't that much of it, actually. I think it was used in a couple of episodes for shock value.
Most of the series is power games between various characters and war (fighting).
I made the mistake of having started to watch The Walking Dead and Games of Throne before they had finished filming.
From now on i just watch finished shows, without having to wait years between episodes.
