Bad parents come in all races and sexual orientation and I certainly wouldn't put gay couples at the top of the bad parent list. Gay couples didn't raise those gangbangers that shot 4,000 people in Chicago last year. If they had, I'd bet there wouldn't be a 10th of those shootings.
