While I agree that there is no end in sight for the partisanship and the divides in the GOP, I think the country is a lot more racist that we may even know. Sure, the Democrats play it up and try to get everything they can from it, likely overstating it and creating racism where it may not have been before, but I also think there are a lot of people who are subtly racist and just keep it to themselves.
