As long as they are both good people then it would be fine for them to be dictators, if that were the case
Problem with US style democracy is lobbying i.e. Bribery, everyone getting paid off by big business, I would prefer a Putin or Assad in charge anyday compared to a corporatocracy acting as only a pychopath would
