John McCain is a man of honor. I may not always agree with his positions -- but he has earned my respect by his personal valor, under the extreme and harsh conditions he endured at the Hanoi Hilton POW camp during the Vietnam war.
How people can be demeaning toward Senator McCain at a time like this is beyond me.
