I agree with your sentiment but did you ever think that maybe calling them out, calling them "losers" and "selfish", IS in fact helping future suicides? It's called Tough Love and there simply is not enough of it in today's society.

Often times a suicide is doing so to seek attention, the infamous "cry for help". Maybe if they realize that the kind of attention they will get by harming themselves is NOT the kind they crave they won't kill themselves. They think it will bring sympathy, sadness, revenge, and they will be missed and loved. Instead if they think they will face retribution and eerision they WILL seek the help we both want them to get.
