In Edmonton Alberta with the tenant board and City By Laws they turn that smoke rules/ law to be decide/ ruled by the condo board / owners. Here our balcony is part of the dwelling they called and is not consider a public area but part of my house aka 5 meters rules dosent apply to balcony is not public area. Of course there is a big sign beside entrance about no smoking with in 5 meters of the building etc.. But in the house and balcony is consider here as part of the unit. ( My landlord her self told me that ) . The way she explain me this the condo board have not plan any ruled about smoking becaus no problem have EVER arise. LOL Fuck me GREAT lol
