Except the high speed train that CA has been talking about building will not be hi speed, way to many stops and also is going to be routed over the Tehachapi mountains. Basically a waste of time and money. A friend that rides Amtrak frequently from Hanford to Sac says that he is often the only one in a car and that there is seldom more than a half dozen.
