First of all, they are NOT mulims ... sorry to deceive you ...
They are Haitians refugess from after the earthquake , that came to the US as you do have the biggest Haitian community ( Outside of Haiti ) .
They no longer feel safe under the Trump regime , so they prefer to come up to Canada .
Because of a stupid law, they cannot vcome thru the border stations, as their original country is not the USA . Canada would be obligated to return them to the USA .
By coming in thru an illegal entry point, they can ask for refugee status ( or equivalent ) ; threy are then taken care of by our immigration officers and now soldiers as more are needed.
Haitians habe been great immigrants up to now for Québec . They speak our language, have the same social values ( work, family, making a nice life ) and contribute to society .
I personally welcome them, ALL of them .
