Men and women are vastly different. Men are just physically stronger, and tougher mentally.
With that said, I work with a local Marine recruiter here locally and he recruits a lot of women into the Marine Corps. I was surprised at first, but after seeing some of these women come out of boot camp I am much more comfortable with it. They come out of the boot camp with the same exact "warrior ethic" that all Marines have. They talk about "desire to engage the enemy" and want to be in a combat unit.
