If Delorean gave me an STL file i could carve a plug for this vehicle in less than 400 hours on my CNC machines and spray primer, polish and produce molds in a further 8 weeks ready for production. The real skill and what takes time and money is the design and model testing, months or years are spent proving theorys.

Lamborghini is not a startup and has capital. These are underfunded startups. Even just building the engines, they have to batch produce to gain economy of scale. A lot of their initial capital was producing the prototype.
We had that in the hologram company. One hologram costs $5,000. The next 10,000 we'll sell you for a penny apiece. Setup costs for the plate and production run.
