Really sad to hear about Jerry. His heyday was way before my time. But I enjoyed watching the MD telethons, with all the stars, acts, huge corporations donating millions. I always thought it would have led to a cure or some kind of really effective treatment by now. Sure, advances have been made. But IDK if they're really any closer now than when they started.
