I just got back from southern Italy / Amalfi Coast and it is relatively migrant free.
I have a friend who lives in northern Italy outside Florence and for his small village, the migrants are a serious problem.

I've heard from one client in Italy that migrants are not a problem, but i've heard from many swedes that sweden is a nightmare at this point, and I've heard from my wife's patients (she's an ortodontist and there's alot of dental tourism here) from Germany that they don't feel safe at all and even their kids don't want to go outside. My cousin moved to norway some time ago, she works at some bakery up north - she said that there isn't any migrants there but i've heard from others in norway that it's started to get bad. My guess is that it doesn't matter if it's a big city or small village - it matters more how close you are to a migrant center. I know in some cases they've housed hundreds of migrants in villages with a few hundred people.
