Hurricane Amelia in 1978 wasn't a hurricane at all, it was a tropical storm.

This is a hurricane that slammed into the coast, sat there, returned to the gulf, picked up more steam, and is about to slam back into Texas. Harvey has already dropped more rain than Amelia, and we are only half way through this.

Just to give you an example.... The damage during Amelia is $110 million dollars. Harvey is going estimated at $60 billion.
