Also I wanted to note that this is very significant to Trump himself. With the Federal investigation the only thing that can happen to Trump is he gets impeached "eventually" by Congress when they are forced to do so..
They would have to then go after him personally later. However at the state level, Trump can now be charged with a crime(s) and his properties can be seized at the state level.
