The food aspect is an interesting one to me. It is true, Americans don't want the jobs many of these illegals are doing. My first job was working in the fields on a farm one summer in high school. This was in the 1980's and even then about 80% of the workers were Hispanic. Now it is almost always close to 100%. When the illegals go, the farmers will have to pay more for workers and/or will go out of business, thus raising the cost of food. The question is, will the price increases be greater than the savings of those people no longer living in the country?
