This is not something special for your area. This happens everywhere. This is Moscow 2017:
But when you are sitting in a reinforced concrete building and watching flying trees through a window, you don't even hear the sound. You just think "how good that I'm home now". All people who die, die on the streets. Nobody here dies at home and there is no evacuation in case of hurricanes and flooding, because they can't hurt you when you're behind the massive walls.
