Yes, I KNOW its filthy, but its been left to rot for a good few years!
So, before I wipe down and clean all around it, whats the best way to clean the
actual dock pins that
go into the bottom of the ipod?
I've looked online but it all seems to be about cleaning the port at the bottom of the device and not the bit that goes into it.
As it stands, the clock / radio recognises that an ipod has been connected to the dock, but the problem is it wont
CHARGE the ipod. As I have no longer have a usb charging cable, I have no other way to charge the ipod, so I'm hoping this old clock / radio dock will charge the ipod if I can get it clean...
Suggestions for cleaning please? Household objects etc preferred? Would a good wipe with nail varnish remover do the trick? HELP PLEASE
