you have your calculations wrong.... 1 mill, if .01% would only be 1 billion. He says heīs worth 10billion, so if he gave 1 penny in a pound, he would have send 10 million. Itīs only 0.001% of his worth.
Letīs say my net worth was just 100 grand, an average working family with a home, half paid off, but other debts like credit cards and loans. If I gave 100 to the charity, I would be giving the same percentage & truthfully, itīs a reasonable percentage. However, itīs a different all round figure, considering, for most working man, 100 would take a couple of days to earn, where as for Trump, his stocks, shares & businesses, his position as president, he probably will make a million by the time we all awoke today & by the time those homes were flooded, when he said he will get around to getting down to Texas
