that is an assumption. who knows how much further ahead we might be as a world and society if not for religion oppressing different ideas.
as for taking a knee, i think it makes them look stupid. its their right to do it and its up to their team to decide if its acceptable. i think people need to stop giving it attention as it only is effective if people care.
