they did not know that back then....you have the advantage of knowing what it lead to because you are speaking from the future...they did not...all they knew was capitalism and that was basically a crony gravy train at the time...
I am not presenting communism as a god-send...it was new back then and they wanted freedom and it sounded good...you cant blame people for wanting freedom...they did not have the internet and TV back then...
all they had was capitalists making them live like serfs...communism was wort a shot...
