I have been alive that entire time so I have first hand testimony as to how the world has changed. Therefore not only am I perfectly suitable to pass judgement on this era but I also have the right.
- You don't know what it was like to watch a movie on a really giant silver screen while sitting in very comfortable velour seats and having a cigarette girl sell you a shot of brandy...
- Or to hear Frank Sinatra sing in person....
- Or ride the rails of the T.H & B railway where the worst that could happen to you was you would be kicked off the train.
- Or to be able to get a damn good paying job or even a trade by just talking to the manager for 10 mins.
- Or to be able to make money selling the clippings of your sister's pubic hair.
- Or make a truckload of money selling a 3 minute loop of a blow job.
- Or just how much unbelievable amount of freedom we had.
You don't know jack shit about what the past was like because you weren't there. All you have is a handful of Internet memes, corporate driven propaganda and an over priced cheap Iphone made in a Chinese sweat shop.
Thanks

in some ways i wish i had been born much earlier. being a teenager in the 50's would of been cool but we have no control over when we are born so don't feel so high and mighty over something so random. you can guarantee i won't be here when i'm 80 if i'm lucky enough to live that long.
