There will always be assault weapons. The US isnt the only country that manufactures guns. They can easily be smuggled in. There are people who deal in arms through-out the world. Instead of an AR it will be an AK. And there are individual gunsmiths who are machinist that can make any gun on the market now in their own garage.

A ban will cause one thing - the price to go up. Thats about it.
