I totally agree to take down anything that is in question.
My question is:
My.com - gets a dmca because video listed on main page
My.com/tag/Hot_Girl - gets a dmca
My.com/image/hot_girl.jpg gets a dmca
My.com/category/hot_girls/ gets a dmca
From just one complaint. Then the next thing you know
- Tag = Hot Girl is removed from SERPS
- Category = Hot Girls is removed from SERPS
- Literal My.com = Removed from the SERPS
Anyone can file a DMCA, how can the actual category or main index of a site get removed with it just based on a single complaint?
I was just getting at, what about X Hamster? You complain about one video on the main page, XHamster.com is still in the SERPS.
So that's what I'm getting at. Not really asking about whether DMCA is worth it or fair. I appreciate the additional response however
