But let's try to answer your question anyway.

1. Government involvement
2. Government doesn't want to admit that even with all of their spying and prying they still can stop things such as this.
3. Government can say one random off the radar guy slipped through the cracks not a group of individuals.


Motive: Government needs to increase it's spying capabilities so they can narrow it down to off the radar lone individuals. Even down to putting body scanners in hotels so you get use to someone looking through your sex toy bag.

Paddock worked either for the government or a government contracted company his entire life. It's now appearing that he wasn't actually "retired rich." That BS made no sense anyway considering his claim to fame is co-owning a apartment complex that sold for 2.1 million. It's fresh on the scene but it looks like he may have been utilizing those 2 planes that no one seems to want to talk about or knows where they are.
